InventureIT is an innovative full-service technology company with offices in Savannah, Georgia and headquartered near Chattanooga, Tennessee in Dalton, Georgia that was created to satisfy the growing needs of businesses across the Southeast. InventureIT provides information technology (IT) management, custom software systems, network support, General Tech Support for both Windows and Mac OS, integration and technology consulting services for clients of all sizes
How we started
InventureIT was incorporated in 2007 and has grown to become one of the leading IT consulting firms in the greater Chattanooga area. We have also expanded to an office in Savannah. The developers at InventureIT have over one hundred years of combined IT consulting experience with extensive knowledge in the medical and manufacturing industries.
Our company provides software development services for businesses around the southeastern US across a variety of industries. Inventure IT has developed software platforms certified in the medical industry, operational systems for logistics (3PL) companies, tools in the manufacturing space, various integrations in the print & marketing sector, and other solutions such as websites, mobile applications, and the like for businesses of all types.

Our IT experts have experience achieving and maintaining PCI‐DSS certification, full HIPAA & HITECH compliance of all matter of systems up-to and including fax systems, as well as sporting one of the highest levels of security compliance achievable NIST800‐53 rev3 compliance.
Our most innovative line of business extends the service divisions of our company, as we have diversified in a number of partnerships and joint ventures to power numerous technology-based SaaS products on the market. These ventures take advantage of our ability to provide software development and managed IT services with industry on many product lines to provide unmatched knowledge of the industry that we serve. Vice President of Sales
Richie Watson graduated from University of West Georgia in 1993 with a BBA in Economics. Richie has been in Sales and Marketing his whole life in a variety of different industries (Telecommunications, Manufacturing, Security, Real Estate and Child Care). He has a real love for people and enjoys making their lives easier with the use of technology. He considers his greatest blessing in life is his family and 2 wonderful daughters. Thank GOD they look like their mother!!!
Chief Information Officer
Graduated in 1993 from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems Over the course of his 22 year career in information technology, Lee has done everything from networking and PC support to large scale application architecture and development as both team member and team lead. Lee architects and delivers solutions that are efficient, economical, and exceed our customers’ expectations. As a managing partner, Lee heads the internal infrastructure and systems of the company as well as participating in sales and delivery.
Chief Technology Officer
Jeremy Fletcher is one of the partners at InventureIT and acts as the company’s CTO. Jeremy graduated magna cum laude from Auburn University with a B.S. degree in Information Systems in 1999 before beginning a career in IT and software architecture & development. He has served various roles in multiple companies, with significant experience in software development and architecture for manufacturing environments. In his role as CTO, Jeremy serves as the company’s top technology architect, which focuses him on various goals, such as utilizing technology to enhance the company’s product offerings and aligning the company’s product architecture with business priorities. During his free time, he likes to spend time with his wife and children, coach/play/watch sports, brew beer, do projects around the house and occasionally nap.
Chief Operating Officer
Stacey earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the Allen E. Paulson College of Engineering & Information Technology at Georgia Southern University in 2001. He has worked across the technological spectrum in his career, tackling large scale data warehousing initiatives and bleeding‐edge software engineering projects as a developer, technical lead, and project manager. As chief operating officer, Stacey is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the technology team as well as delivering projects to our clientele’s expectations.
Chief Executive Officer
Graduated in 1993 from the University of West Georgia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Information Systems. In the past 22 years he has worked in every aspect of information technology, from operations to project team leader. The experience gained in all of these areas gives him the ability to envision a project from beginning to end. As a managing partner, Brent is heavily involved in sales and development.
Senior Support Engineer
Rick Bean heads up our Savannah location and all surrounding areas. Rick graduated from Georgia Southern in 1981 with a BBA in Management and started as a software trainer for Allen Data Systems in December of 1980. ADS developed, installed and maintained medical billing system on MicroData systems. Eventually Rick worked his way into programming in the PICK multidimensional RDBMS.
Rick joined the staff of InventureIT in October of 2012 where he supports a variety of clients providing technical support and guidance. His customers include medical practitioners, financial firms, construction and design companies and property management entities.
Senior Support Engineer
Lawrence supports a broad variety of clients in manufacturing facilities, legal firms, logistics (3PL), charitable groups, government and non-governmental entities. He has experience with Mac OS X, Linux, Unix, as well as the Windows operating system (all on both the server side and desktop side.) Lawrence has spent his adult work life entirely in the IT industry. He began his IT career in 1995 at a university and eventually moved to a law firm providing IT support. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to create Pinnacle Technology in 2011 and to ultimately merge with InventureIT in 2017.
In his spare time Lawrence enjoys binge watching shows on Netflix, keeping up with current events, spending time with his family, his church, and going on mission trips to Haiti.
Senior Project Manager
Kristy Blalock has a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems from the University of West Georgia and an MBA from Kennesaw State University. Kristy joined InventureIT in 2013 and has experience in user training and support, requirements gathering, report development, user interface design, software development and project management. In her free time she likes to travel and spend time with her family.
Senior Software Engineer
Carlos Rodriguez is a software engineer that joined InventureIT in early 2017. He is originally from Waco, TX and served in the US Army for 4 years with a tour in Iraq in 2004. He studied at Texas State Technical College and earned an Associate’s degree in Computer Science with a specialty in Business Applications Development. He likes to fish and play sports with his kids.
Senior Software Engineer
Kevin Daves knew he wanted to be a programmer after writing his first line of code at age 9 on a Mattel Aquarius computer. He is self taught and has nearly 20 years of experience in software development. He joined InventureIT in July of 2018. Kevin is the media specialist and youth leader for his church. He enjoys spending time with his wife and son, playing video games, reading, taking photographs of random stuff, and analyzing thermostat data.
Cameron Burnette is a software engineer that joined InventureIT in late 2017. He graduated from Dalton State College in 2015. He enjoys long walks on the beach, listening to Barbara Streisand’s greatest hits, and is the true definition of a “Mama’s Boy”.
Steven Forrest joined Inventure IT in August of 2018 as a Software Engineer. He graduated from the University of Phoenix in 2016 with an Associates degree in Computer Programming. He has 4 years of experience in manufacturing in the carpet industry, as well as 6 years of experience in software engineering. Steven has a love for all things tech, including micro-controllers and IOT applications. At home, he and his amazing wife have a huge family. They have 5 wonderful sons which keep them busy. Steven enjoys coaching rec sports for his kids, as well as relaxing and spending time with his family while not at work.
Kevin Manning started with Inventure IT in August of 2018 after moving back to Dalton from Seattle. He brought with him the best parts of Washington in his wife, two sons, and degree in Computer Information Systems from Edmonds Community College. Now he spends his days fixing the house he grew up in, playing Pokémon with his kids, and jamming out to Taylor Swift.
Jacob Teed graduated from Pensacola Christian College with a B.S. in Computer Science and Software Engineering in December 2017. On the weekends, he likes to spend time with his wife, travel to nice hiking spots and play video games.
Caity Simmons landed at Inventure IT in 2018, versed in the mechanics of physics, science and kombucha. As one of the only in her species to survive the Euclidean meteor showers of 2004, she maintains her powers over metals with a magnetism that is thus far unmatched by mere mortals. Her only known weakness are allergens which she keeps at bay through association with a certain genus of disturbing feline breeds.
Andrew Thompson graduated from Georgia Southern in 2018 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Information and Technology. He joined InventureIT after an internship with the Senior Support Engineer in Savannah, Georgia. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his fiancee, going hiking, and playing tabletop games.
Tanner Karr is a Software Developer that joined InventureIT in 2018. He graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Business Administration in 2015. In his spare time, he likes to watch football, shoot some hoops, and play video games.
